By combining my love for storytelling, and nature, it has become my mission to create elopement experiences that are completely stress-free, full of adventure, and deeply personal. I want your day to be exciting, unique, and absolutely true to who you are.
Whether were hiking to a hidden mountaintop, exchanging vows on a private beach in Mexico, or climbing the tallest in Colorado, I’m here to guide you through it all. From helping you plan every detail to exploring epic landscapes together, I’m committed to making your elopement day as effortless, joyful, and unforgettable as possible.
Before I found photography, I was a nurse, and that’s where I learned to listen, care deeply, and honor the stories people share with me. Here I found the importance of presence, empathy, and respect — all things I carry into every elopement I document. I approach each couple’s day with the same care and attention, making sure you feel safe, comfortable, and free to be yourselves.
I was born and raised in Arizona, where I developed a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for life's journey. After spending three years in nursing, I moved to Colorado to start my photography business.
I’m here for the storytelling, the stunning scenery, and the day that's unapologetically YOURS...

Adventure ris rooted everything I do in life, in love, and behind the camera. I'm more than just you're photographer. I'm also scuba certified, I love hiking in the back-country, nights in with my husband. I'm also an elite triathlete with more than five world championships under my belt (so rest assured, I'll be able to chase you up any mountain) haha.
Every adventure I’ve taken, everything I do feeds into how I capture your elopement day: with energy, passion, and authenticity.

Alexa was the best photographer we have ever worked with, seriously. She met us super early at sapphire point in Dillon, CO for our wedding photos and was so energetic and ecstatic to see us. The entire shoot felt like a movie, and she had so many amazing ideas for the shoot. At no point did we feel nervous (about the photos, the wedding day nerves are very real), and she truly grounded our wedding day, keeping the focus on us and having a lovely day together.
